ExcelEscape (엑셀방탈출) is a paid spreadsheet puzzle service operated in the Republic of Korea by Lee JungAe, a sole proprietor registered under the trade name 덕구스튜디오 (English display name: Duckgu Studio).
Service and eligibility
All game content, including Locked Meeting Room (잠긴 회의실), requires paid access. Product details and previews can be viewed without signing in. Purchases and play require a signed-in account and valid access rights. There is no free trial or trial that automatically becomes paid.
Account and other personal-data features are intended for people aged 14 or older. Minors need a parent or legal guardian’s consent to purchase. Any statutory right to cancel a contract made without the required consent is preserved.
Products, prices, and supply periods
Prices below are the total checkout amounts in Korean won (KRW). The ExcelEscape product and checkout screens show which products can currently be purchased and the next billing date.

Using access rights and automatic renewal
Opening content does not restart a single ticket’s validity period. No further ticket is deducted for content already opened with valid access or included in a current subscription. New content released during a subscription is included, but no release frequency or number is guaranteed. Game progress stays in the browser being used and does not automatically synchronize across devices.
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew at the same price and interval only after separate recurring-payment consent. If the corresponding date does not exist in a month, its last day is used. Your Library shows the next billing date and payment history. Required notices and consent for price or condition changes are handled separately; agreeing to these Terms alone is not consent to an increase.
Tickets belong to your ExcelEscape account. They cannot be converted to cash, withdrawn, transferred, gifted, sold to others, or used with another service. Purchase cancellations and refunds are processed to the original payment method under the policy below.
Stopping renewal, cancellations, and refunds
You can stop future automatic renewal at any time in Your Library (https://excelescape.com/my-library). Access remains valid until the end of the period already paid for. Account deletion, stopping renewal, and requesting a refund are separate procedures.
An unused single ticket is eligible for a full refund within one year after purchase, with no deduction merely because more than seven days have passed. For a used ticket, we assess the content used and any unprovided portion and preserve statutory remedies for defects, incorrect supply, and other covered cases. Starting to use content does not result in a blanket refusal of refunds.
For monthly and annual subscriptions, the unprovided remaining period is refunded as the amount paid × the unprovided remaining period ÷ the full period for that billing cycle, without a penalty. The remaining period is measured from the accepted refund request and the end of service access; fractions of one Korean won are rounded up in the customer’s favor. The calculation and refund amount are explained before processing. Refunded tickets and the related access rights are revoked.
Send the order number and your request to support@duckgustudio.com. Once a cancellation or refund is established, the refund is made to the original payment method within the applicable legal deadline; the card issuer’s posting time may vary. The one-year ordinary request period does not extinguish statutory refund or compensation rights. Any mandatory rule more favorable to the consumer applies.
Accounts and privacy
Use a social or email sign-in option provided on the sign-in screen. Keep your account and devices secure and do not use another person’s account. Do not send passwords in support messages.
Authentication and access rights are linked to your account. Optional profile and recommendation settings have separate consent choices. The service Privacy Policy explains data categories, retention, international processing, and deletion requests.
Permitted use, interruptions, and liability
The puzzles, answers, software, design, text, and branding belong to the operator or its licensors. Personal, non-commercial use and sharing links or spoiler-free results are permitted. Bulk copying, resale, security bypasses, and abusive use are prohibited.
Maintenance or faults may interrupt service. If the service or purchased content is discontinued, we provide advance notice and explain applicable remedies, including refunds for unprovided portions. We do not limit liability for intent, gross negligence, or mandatory consumer protection. The current service does not display ads.
Changes, governing law, and contact
The service contract and disputes are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, with jurisdiction determined by applicable procedural law. Material changes are announced in advance with their content, reason, and effective date, and any required consent is obtained separately. Previously acquired purchase rights are not reduced retroactively. The Korean original and translations are intended to convey the same meaning; translations do not limit statutory consumer rights.
